Do you know this kid?
Well... TOMORROW my little bro, and one of my best friends, is leaving me for two years.... I don't know if I'm ready for the tears that we all know WILL come...
Since Jamie has been married, Ty is my all time source of sanity in my house... I don't now what I'm going to do without him. I'm sure he'll get a couple of "vent" letters, where I'll write/email him about the craziness of our younger siblings and he'll probably think, wow I'm lucky to be in Sacramento...
I've had 2 months to prepare for this day and I had hoped I'd be more ready for this. It hasn't quite hit me, but as I think about what this week has in store, I can't help but realize that on wednesday when I go swimming with Jamie, I can't try and convince Ty to come... He won't be here :(
I have had success with getting him to go to Grandma Lunch Day :)
So Tyler and I have been doing things together to get ready for the absence of the next two years. We've gone on QT runs and drove down this road signing our hearts out.
If you didn't know, Me and Ty LOVE to duet, I might add, that we aren't too shabby :) So of course we get our QT beverages and take a little detour home and sing our songs. I guess I'll have to sing his parts till he gets home :( tears....

I don't have a picture of this, but we've been on bike rides around the neighborhood just talking, OK mostly me huffing trying to catch up, but sooo much fun!!!!
I'm mostly going to miss talking with Ty about the Man troubles I seem to run into... Maybe with the absence of my guide, my troubles will go away with him and I'll finally get married...

So the only thing holding me together right now, is the fact that I know he is doing the right thing. The people of Sacramento don't know how lucky they are to have this AMAZING guy teach them the truthfulness of the Gospel. He is going to do awesome things there and I couldn't be prouder of the Man he's become!!
